Channel letters are the most common type of illuminated building signs. From simple designs to custom halo-lit stainless steel letters, MichiganSignShops.com is fully prepared to handle your project. Like most experienced fabricators, we learned years ago how to build these signs by hand with very little technology needed. This gave us the skillset and knowledge base to be able to build any type of project. We have heavily invested in our industries state-of-the-art automated channel letter equipment, and are proud to be the only franchised sign location in the world to have the Accu-Bend system. Like the cell phone changed the communication industry, automating channel letter manufacturing allows us the abilities to quickly build unique signs for a new business or project manage nationwide roll-outs for signage.
Channel letters are typically built with metal backs and sides, an acrylic face to light well at night, and one of two forms of lighting on the inside. Neon is the “old school” solution, eventually requiring servicework and part replacement. Sign-A-Rama of Metro Detroit has embraced the new lighting solution that LED’s have brought to our industry. After years of research and testing, we have chosen the GE Tetra LED line (General Electric) as our primary solution for lighting all of our channel letters. With over 100,000 hours of guaranteed lighting, and an average electric savings of 15% per year to our clients, we are confident that LED lighting is the best solution available today.
We have built hundreds of channel letter signs installed in Metro Detroit and all over the country. From Sinister Powersports in Dearborn Heights, Sylvan Learning Center in Livonia, to Kelly Services in Troy, we are proud to have helped many businesses solidify their place in Michigan. We also service many large companies and franchise groups on a nationwide level. Bigby Coffee, MathMonkey, EmbroidMe, and DuctPro are a few of our valued national sign accounts.
