Company Owner
Bob Chapa is the proud owner of his Metro Detroit Sign-A-Rama locations, in Madison Heights & Southfield. With over 20 years of experience you can rest assured you are in good hands! He started his career with Sign-A-Rama as the first production person when the store opened in 1998 and swiftly was promoted to Operations Manager. As the business continued to grow he eventually purchased the business from Ed and Joann Progar the founders of the company. Within the first year and a half, Bob took over his second location in the downriver area. As the needs of his customers grew, Bob reinvested heavily into the business by moving from 1,200 square feet into a state of the art sign facility with over 12,000 square feet of space. He also added extensive automated sign manufacturing equipment. In January of 2008, based on his sincere belief in the Detroit community, Bob Chapa opened his third retail sign shop location in Soutfield Michigan. Sign-A-Rama Madison Heights and Sign-A-Rama Southfield are truly where Metro Detroit goes for signs!

Bob has been a member of the Sign-A-Rama Franchise Advisory Council and was was recently elected to the newly formed franchisee Board of Directors for ShopSignarama.com, Sign-a-Rama's new online sign design and ordering tool.

At the Sign-A-Rama Franchise World Expo in 2009, Bob Chapa was incredibly honored to have been elected into the the elite Hall of Fame for his franchise. This is truly the pinnacle of his accomplishments with his franchise.

We Recycle and Reuse
In our shop we recycle wood, aluminum, cardboard and other scrap materials from our sign-making projects. In our office we use recycled paper products, office supplies and eco-friendly cleaning detergents.
